Aponivi is an animated short film that tells the story of a young man who must face the fears caused by an innate trait: his inability to speak.

In his magical journey of self-discovery, Aponivi confronts different forms of social pressure: the push to be talkative, the temptation to build an identity that is not truly his own, and the way discomfort and suffering can become a source of enjoyment for others.

The short film is the result of several months of work and was born from a personal reflection on shyness, on how it is often perceived from the outside, and on what it means to be heard when you cannot rely on your own voice.
